My name is Tyler Vipond. I'm a recent graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design. I was born in 1983 on the west coast of Canada, but was soon transplanted to a small (not too small though) town in Ontario. It was there that I had a childhood full of plastic soldiers, snowball fights, and tree-forts. I now live in Toronto. Although there may be significantly fewer tree-forts here, there are still plenty of plastic soldiers, and every now and then, a snowball fight.

There is no over-arching theme to my work, and so every series has it's own artist statement. The statements and other info may be found alongside the work they belong to.
